I. Our hearts desire is to see people saved and come to the knowledge of truth in every area of their lives.
We know that we are saved for heaven but our salvation can also be walked out daily here on earth.
The overcoming life is experienced when we apply God’s words to the very simple or complex needs we are faced with.
Jesus modeled the overcoming life in scripture for us to follow. He is the Greater One that lives in us and causes us to know Christ in us the Hope of Glory!
II. We also have a passion to see healing for the nations.
Samuel studied healing from his childhood as he went to tent revivals and would listen to records of many of the evangelists growing up. One in particular was Oral Roberts and he would listen to his tent meetings before going to sleep and would turn them on upon waking up.
He remembered recently a conversation with his father regarding Oral Roberts. His father asked “didn’t you know about Oral Roberts and your grandfather?” His father went on to tell him how when he was young his father took him to a healing revival with Bro Roberts.
While he and his father were in line, Bro Roberts told his helpers to bring his father out of the line and to the front. When his father was brought forward, Bro Roberts told those in the meeting “this is a man of faith” he proceeded to pray for his father and he was healed.
God wants everyone to be healed. Jesus practiced healing everywhere he went.
Revelation 12:11 reads: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
It is so important for all of us to share our testimony with others. Whether regarding healing, miracles, salvation or deliverance. I believe that when we share our testimony we are reintroducing the power of that past healing, miracle, salvation of deliverance to the present.
If it was just a historical event then it would only have power for then, but since Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever that testimony transcends time and is not subject to it and releases faith into the now.
III. We desire to demonstrate the Love of God in everything we do, everything we say and all that we pray.
For without Love we are nothing more than sounding brass and tinkling cymbals. There are so many people no longer attending our churches today because the Love of God was no longer demonstrated. Every message that is preached that is absent of God’s Love will be absent of God’s Power. For without love, faith cannot operate and is powerless. Therefore it is our sincere desire to be a ministry that is founded on truth while being bathed in the Love of God.
